Last weekend, I had this dance recital and it was so much fun. I'm going to tell you about both of them, but first I'm going to tell you how the day got started. Okay, where to begin, oh yeah, i had to wake up early in the morning to go to PAC for extra practice on stage because we had a short dress rehearsal the weekend before. Lets see, we worked on our Thoroughly Modern Millie dance first. Next, was There's No Business Like Show Business (Tap and Jazz Opening). Then, we did the Ballet Opening. Next, was the Tea Party. After that, was Queen's Court. Then, it was God is Enough. After that, was the lunch break . After the lunch break, we did Steppin' to the Bad Side. We finally finished the rehearsal after that.
The Ballet Recital started @ 5 o'clock and ended about 7 o'clock. When we started, we were in our Ballet opening costume. When we finished, we put on our Tea Party costume. I was a Fork. I loved that Fork. After the Tea Party, we put on our Queen's Court costume. After Queen's Court, I put my Fork back on for the finale. That is all the ballet recital.
The Tap and Jazz Recital was next and it started @ 7:30 and ended about 9 o'clock. My first dance was There's no Business Like Show Business, which is the opening dance. After we finished it, we had to put on our God is Enough costume.
When we did God is Enough and finished it, we had to quickly change into our Steppin' to the Bad Side costume. When we finished, we ran back to our dressing room and put on our Thoroughly Modern Millie costume and Millie was our very last dance.
